Statement of Need
This conference will review the benefits of developing an effective treatment strategy for patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments. The focus will be on the impact of various treatment options on patients' quality of life. Finally, clinical trials and future directions of treatment will be discussed.
Target Audience
This conference is designed to address the continuing medical education needs of neurologists and other healthcare professionals who manage patients with multiple sclerosis.
Learning Objectives
After attending this event, you should be able to:
- Develop an approach to assessing the place of new therapies in the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
- Recognize alternative strategies for selecting a starting drug and switching.
- Highlight new, and potential future, treatments for multiple sclerosis.
